Various papers and reports discussing copyright issues pertinent to libraries and archives can be found here. The Overview of the Libraries and Archives Exception in the Copyright Act was prepared for the Study Group by the U.S. Copyright Office to provide historical and other background information on Section 108, as well as an explanation of its provisions. Other papers were authored by members of the Section 108 Study Group independently of their affiliation with the group; they provided additional background and illustrative information on the issues the Study Group addressed.
